2013 Studs & Duds Recruitment
 

Interested in joining the awesome team known as The Black Aces? This years quest for the 2013 season Studs & Duds is underway and seeking members to own a day each week to deliver the Studs & Duds. PM me for questions and interest.

What is the Studs & Duds you may ask? That given days worth of studly performances and not-so studly performances. The idea is to have at least 3 studs and 3 duds each day. Posts for each days worth of games should be made after completion of games that day or by mid-morning the next day at the latest. Each Studs & Duds thread is to be posted here in the Black Aces section and titled as follows:

Studs & Duds: 1/23 ( post the date) and then write your material then post to the community.

If you want to get your feet wet in the world of fantasy hockey writing, this is a great start.

9-plus current or ex Dobber Sports writers contributed to the Studs & Duds over the last year.

Definitely a great opportunity to get noticed per say.

That said, if you want in just for the fun of it and share hockey knowledge and opinions with your fellow forum folk, by all means you can do that too!

Indeed. I did it to have fun but it also opened some doors for me.

Gates is right, it's a lot of fun and you really do learn a lot.

I highly recommend you give it a try if you enjoy writing or just being a hardcore NHL fan.

If nobody has taken on the Wednesday then I'd be happy to do it...though I might need until Thursday morning to finish it some weeks.

Like I said in the PM, I can do some fill-in work whenever you guys are in trouble. I just can't do Tuesday (Fantrax Studs & Duds Quick Hits deadline) or Wednesday (Capped deadline). I can promise quality but not quantity.

Obviously you pick the day that I picked to not be available.

Maybe I could ask dyz when I'm in a bin-ha no.
