Huberdeau or Granlund??

Who would you rather own in a points only, no positional requirements, no salary cap, straight keeper league??

Huberdeau or Granlund??

Huberdeau for me.

It's very close but Huberdeau appears to be as talented offensively, if not moreso, and is definitely a bit bigger. Maybe he'll score more goals in close or hold up better as a result.

I prefer Huberdeau.

Huberdeau had a great 1st game point wise, and I think he will be a good player, but I would still take Granlund.

Love Hubs...and the Canadian Factor. But I'll take Granlund on Minny over Hubs on Florida. Just a gut.

In a league with some hits or pims, I'd probably lean slightly more towards Huberdeau. Points only, Granlund gets the same nod.

These guys are both going to be forces on their respective teams, and it's almost too close to call. I've gone out of my way to watch Granlund in the Finnish league over the last two years, and its clear he's a very talented, natural scorer.

The two factors I'd suggest you weigh with him to make your decision more comfortable :

1. He's a smaller guy, and has had some injuries - how much does that scare you off ?

2. He's probably in a better support situation in Minny, than Huberdeau has in FLA...if you think linemates affect point totals.

If #2 is enough to negate any concerns about injuries for you...then Granlund gets my vote.

Close but I would go with Huberdeau.
