Wade Redden Signs with St Louis

@TSNBobMcKenzie
Well, there it is. Wade Redden a STL Blue. Hearing 1 year deal, $800K base salary with GP bonuses that could make it $1M total.

Good for Redden, hope he does well.

Interesting. The Blues love vets.

Any value there?

Seems like a shrewd signing by St. Louis. Big Redden could help their system and its basically no risk at $800k. Really interested to see if he can put up some solid play night in and night out.

Excellent, hopefully he can turn this into a better contract for next year. He's still a serviceable d-man.

Good for him. How long until Gomez signs now?

I'd say he's happy enough to get 5mil (most of it from the Rangers) this year and be back in the NHL...

Next year is going to be a pay cut regardless of how well he does this year.

Wild prediction:
St. Louis beats the Rangers for the Stanley Cup... Redden with the Cup winning goal.

If that's not pooping in the refrigerator and eating the whole wheel of cheese I don't know what is.
