Lucroy for a prospect
 

Hey all,

league in my sig.

A guy in our league traded for VMart and CBS just took his C eligibility away for next year. Nice. So he's stuck without a catcher until Zunino makes the grade. Anyway, I have Perez so I've been offering up Lucroy.

The prize I'd like to take home is Tavares, but he's not budging on that one. So my options right now are:

1) Trade my Choo and Lucroy for his Allen Craig. This helps me in the OF this year and then at 1B next year after Konerko retires. After that I'd be down to 2 OF though. Seems kind of steep for some reason. Craig's health??

2) Trade Lucroy for Tijuan Walker. I already don't have any room for another pitcher, so I'd have to make a cut somewhere. Hellickson would probably have to go, maybe for a pick. Hanson can kiss his ass goodbye too lol

3) Trade Lucroy+ for Tavares. Maybe Oswaldo Arcia? But I don't see him taking that offer.

4) Hold on to Lucroy as some catcher depth. It can't hurt at C.


Any thoughts appreciated!

Tempting to take Tijuan for LuCroy, but I'd ultimately hold onto him.. you can never have too many productive catchers.

I'd be very tempted to trade Choo and Lucroy for Allen Craig.

Otherwise, hang on to Lucroy.

agree. craig is the best payer in the deal. choo and lucroy will likely have strong seasons, but i think craig is going to be very good at first base for several years.

how about craig+ for choo/lucroy?

I've consolidated some keepers and right now I'm 3 over the max. So I've got to drop 3 of these 4 guys:

Lucroy
Storen
Hellickson
Garcia

I'm still looking for a 1B, so I'm trying to move Hellickson+draft pick or Garcia+draft pick for someone like Rizzo. If that fails....geez I dunno. 1B are slim pickin here.

I'm really starting to think about taking Walker if I can't make a deal to do a 2-fer.

I was thinking of cutting Hellickson and Garcia if it comes down to it. Might give Hanson another year. After that he's toast lol Sick of waiting for that guy to get it all together and now it looks worse than ever.

Welp,.it's getting close to the cut date and I haven't been able to move anyone,.so it's looking more and more like I'm going to have to drop 3 of the above.

Can still get Walker or Fernandez or Castellanos plus a pick for Lucroy if I want. I'd prefer to hold on to him though :/ Dammit.
