Ovechkin collides with Johansson - Leaves Ice
 

Not sure what to think of it, the collision was pretty bad that it brought Ovechkin to his knees.

Probably not serious but something to keep an eye out for.

The funeral is scheduled for Friday.

Nothing serious about it. Ovechkin was laughing about it with the reporters after practice.

It happened while Oates tried to make Ovie play on the right wing instead of the left. Don't know if he'll try again!

After a few stitches he was back on the ice for the rest of the scrimmage and put up a few points. Might see this a few times as he is adjusting to playing on the right wing.

I think he should be alright, remember he did almost lose his head while driving around Washington's rink with Mike Green..

I never understood why coaches do that...I think if you've played your whole career on a particular wing and you've scored 50+ goals on multiple occasions you just leave it the **** alone y'know?

Because it didn't work the last two years and you need to do ANYTHING.
Kovalchuk got no problem with the change from LW to RW btw.
