Holtby vs. Pavelec (REP)
 

This is a salary cap keeper league.

What do you all think about the two. It has all the normal goalie cats. Holtby is in 1a, 1b situation whereas Pavelec is the number one. I figured Pavelec is the better guy right now, but now I'm second-guessing myself.

With your other goalie being Enroth you cannot do this trade, especially if it stays 1a-1B. Faaaaaaar too risky. Pavelec by a mile for me anyways; I wouldn't trade him for Holtby.

It wasn't a straight up offer. Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. I'm trying to get into the playoffs at least this year.

I own Pavs in one league, full disclosure - but I agree with Smokie.

You have to go Pavs. Truth be told, I'd rather own Holtby than Enroth, if that is an option.

Thanks, you're all just affirming what I already thought. Just making sure I wasn't being dumb for some reason as I know a bunch of people have this weird hard-on for Holtby.

I really like Holtby but I'd still take Pavs over him. He's just so much safer. Don't be taking unnecessary chances. Also I think Holtby has given folks plenty of reasons to have a "weird hard-on for him."
