dont think its too bad of a proposition but i dont want to be blinded and sell all my depth of stars for just one big fish.

well Viz is apparently seriously considering signing in the KHL so depending on what side of this you are on it might be a good idea or not

Stamkos is my top rated player in a keeper, but having said that I think this would be a slight overpayment.

might be a bit of an overpayment but you almost always have to overpay for the big fish.
i like the deal for you though.

yeah i was leaning to making the deal and if it sets me back a year then so be it i would be stronger in the long run.. but that was with me envisioning visnovsky as a 35+ contributor for a couple seasons before he either A.) KHL bound or B.) retires. Now that this rumor is up about visnovsky departing as soon as this season its kind of just cole + stamkos for the trio.

I think Brodin would be a significant upgrade on Vis right now. If you can sub him in then get it done. Either way, this deal will serve you well in the long run, but getting a talented young D like Brodin would make it just a bit sweeter.

I would grab Stamkos. He is the best fantasy option.

Viz should not be in the equation. Easy to replace him with a waiver wire option.

If this is for your middle team, with the five keepers, I suppose I'd do it b/c Stamkos IS a better bet than Seguin. But only because it makes that keeper position stronger...because I can't help but think the other two spots, for you, become much worse...albeit only over the course of one season.

Stamkos is pretty durned good, but I think Seguin is going to be awfully sweet awfully soon.

Add in that you're giving up a potential high goal guy in Nash and a top offensive dman in Letang and it would be really tough to tell you to make the trade.... unless the move is to improve that one keeper spot.
