Need some advices

Hey guys,

I'm a newcomer in the forum and I would like to have your take on my team in sig. It's a salary cap keeper league with the possibility to grab some waivers if needed.

Questions:

1) What do you guys think about my team? Do you think there's any forward to drop in that group?

2) In terms of D-men, I was thinking to drop one of my D to grab a more proven one? Green and Doughty are available, would that be a good move?

If so, which D-man would you drop? Personnally, I tend to drop Rielly but since it's a salary cap league and Faulk and Schultz will get big money in two years, i'm not to sure about it? Thoughts?

Thanks for the inputs!

Good looking team. Of your forwards, Strome might be a year or two away so I'd look to drop him. Keep everyone else. All quite productive. Most definitely drop Rielly and try and pick up Doughty or Green (in that order). Keep Schultz and if you have to, drop Faulk, although I'm a firm believer that he will put up points consistently in CAR.

What other fwds are available via waiver?

Welcome to the boards, keep 'em coming

BTW, sorry for posting this one twice....it was my first on the forum :)

I dont know if its for salary cap reasons or what as I am not familiar with your league, but there is no way Zach Parise should be on anyones waiver wire.

He's an easy pickup for me.

salary cap reason...he counts for 12M for the next two years since we work with players salaries....

How much cap space do you have right now?

CHunter 01-02-2013 11:03 AM

Right now I have 5.5M cap space....

What is available for goaltenders on the waiver wire?

Shoeless 01-02-2013 11:38 AM

I think Reilly and Strome can both go for now - but that still leaves you a little short in cap space to pick up Doughty. ik like the rest of your forwards, so I would be looking for some cap space by downgrading just a little in goal by moving Rinne out. That should give you enough to take Doughty and replace Strome with someone like Jokinen who is very good value.
