K.Palmieri vs Z.Phillips

Dynasty league and team in sig.

Wondering who to keep in a pts and .1 per PIM only league if I had to drop one.

I think Phillips is longer to arrive and has more competition with zucker, coyle, Larson, granlund and others.
where as Palmieri should be up right away.

but I am also thinking longer term here.

thank you

I'd be going with Palmeiri and wouldnt think twice.

Phillips has stumbled in his first pro season, setting himself back a little and as you said, he certainly has more competition in front of him compared to Palmeiri.

Palmeiri has a real good chance of making the Ducks this year (*assuming) and is chompin at the bit for Teemu to get out of his way so he can take over that top 6 role.

Palmieri for me.... Less competition and bigger upside....

ericdaoust 12-19-2012 07:41 PM

Palmieri is simply a better player.

I'd go with Palmieri here.

I'll take Palmeri. Better opportunity and upside in my opinion

Just going off of my gut here but I'd take Phillips here. I think although he has competition, I feel as if he will settle in as a solid, playmaking 2C. I just feel that his upside is a bit higher than palmeiri's IMO

IMO Phillips has the higher upside but is definitely more of a boom or bust. Palmieri is certainly a safer pick and I don't see Phillips as having so much more upside that it warrants taking him over Palmieri at this point.
Pick:Palmieri

Give me Palmieri. Better player, better upside, closer to NHL and better opportunity to succeed. Easy choice here.

Another vote for Palmieri. Just a better player, and much further along in his development.
