Championship Match-Up: Need LINEUP Help

I help a buddy in a $$$ league and we've made it to the championship match this weekend!!!
We have a really, really, really strong team because we traded away our future keepers (Stafford & Forte) for amazing players that can NOT be kept (Brady, C.Johnson, B.Marshall, R.White).

Pick FOUR to start this week (CBS projections incl.):
21.15 Johnson, Calvin (DET) vs. ATL
18.65 Marshall, Brandon (CHI) @ ARI
15.05 Lloyd, Brandon (NE) @ JAC
14.15 White, Roddy (ATL) @ DET
13.50 Cobb, Randall (GB) vs. TEN
12.50 Sproles, Darren (NO) @ DAL

It is a PPR league where QB TDs = 6pts.
I mention this because the biggest dilemma is whether we should start Roddy White. He's been a bit cold lately.
However, our opponent's QB is Matt Ryan (ATL)... so starting White is a little bit of a "hedge fund" move against a HUGE potential day by Matt Ryan.

Thanks for help!!

I'm not a fantasy football expert but my general rule is to go with the best players available. I think the CBS projections are correct here. Best of luck!

Start White and Cobb over Lloyd and Sproles. Lloyd's output is far too inconsistent (I know this very well), and Sproles just won't get you that 10-catch, 100+ yards, 2 TDs upside the other two can.

I would go with these 4:

21.15 Johnson, Calvin (DET) vs. ATL
18.65 Marshall, Brandon (CHI) @ ARI
15.05 Lloyd, Brandon (NE) @ JAC
14.15 White, Roddy (ATL) @ DET

I just cant see why I would put Cobb or Sproles ahead of any of these guys.

In a PPR, with that group, you HAVE to go:

Johnson - Last two games: 10 Rec, 13 Targets 118yds. 10 Rec, 17 Targets 121yds.
Marshall - Last 3 games: 10 Rec, 14 Targets 165yds. 10 Rec, 19 Targets 160yds 1TD. 6 Rec, 7 Targets 56 1TD.
Cobb - Coming off of back to back 100yd games: 7 Rec,8 Targets - 102yds. 6 Rec, 8 Targets - 114yds.
White - Last two games: 9 Rec, 11 Targets 117yds. 2 Rec, 5 Targets 16yds.

White has been, bluh lately. But he is due for a bounce back game. And the fact that it's Det means could be a shootout. IMO, all 4 of these guys get targeted way more than the rest of the WR/RB. More targets = more opportunities, whether it be receptions, yds or TDs.

The problem in ATL is that depending on the opposing defense it's possible that a receiver is forgotten for a game. That happened to White vs the Giants. Harry Douglas caught a couple extra passes. But the body of work stands for itself. He is money and is always the go-to guy (along with Tony G) if the team has trouble moving the ball.

Calvin, Marshall, Cobb, Sproles

Megatron, Marshall, White, Lloyd.

Tough time choosing between Cobb and Lloyd but I just can't not take the guy that Brady will be throwing to.

So, the totals from 6 replies:

6/6 votes: C.Johnson (LOCK)
6/6 votes: B.Marshall (LOCK)
5/6 votes: Roddy White
3/6 votes: Randall Cobb
3/6 votes: Brandon Lloyd
1/6 votes: Darren Sproles

So... it's Cobb vs. LLoyd.
Indeed, a tough one.

Lloyd, though streaky, has been good recently and the Pats are playing a nice sunny game at Jacksonville.

Per CBS:
News: New England wide receiver Brandon Lloyd heads into Week 16 at Jacksonville coming off his best game of the season. Lloyd went for a career-high 190 receiving yards last week against the tough San Francisco defense. He faces a Jaguars team in Week 16 that is easier scored upon on the ground than through the air, as they have allowed only one WR touchdown in the last three weeks. Of course, they have allowed four touchdowns in the last five weeks.
Analysis: Lloyd actually has a decent history against the Jaguars. He last played at Jacksonville back in 2010 and caught five passes for 117 yards in that game. Lloyd has been anything but a highly reliable Fantasy receiver this season, but does have 17 catches for 279 yards and a touchdown in his last two games. That is just about his best stretch this season. Lloyd has come on strong for the Patriots of late and should be considered a viable Fantasy start in all leagues and formats for Week 16.

Cobb has been much more consistent... but it is a cold-weather game in Green Bay against a Tennessee defense that is getting better.

Per CBS:
News: Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb -- who has had back-to-back 100-yard games, including a career-best 115-yard performance last week at Chicago -- will look to continue the streak Week 16 against Tennessee. The Titans have stepped up on defense lately, ranking fourth in scoring defense (17.6 points per game) and third in total defense (285.8 yards per game) since Week 9, but for the season, they rank only 19th against the pass, allowing 240.6 yards per game. Cobb was limited in practice by a shoulder injury Wednesday, but he is expected to play in Sunday's contest.
Analysis: Cobb has been the Packers' most reliable receiver this season, averaging 6.1 catches for 72.0 yards over the team's last nine games. Injuries to other members of the receiving corps have allowed him to be a regular part of the passing game, and with Jordy Nelson still nursing a hamstring injury, that should continue to be the case in Week 16. The biggest concern for Cobb is the frigid conditions for Sunday's game, with the temperature expected to be in the high-20s. But because the winds will be relatively calm and the skies relatively clear, it shouldn't impact his performance too much. As a reliable member of a reliable passing game, Cobb should be active in just about all Fantasy formats.

Looking for a few more replies...
Cobb or Lloyd?
