Points only D-Men

I am choosing three keepers from five possibilities.

Please rank: Suter, Edler, Goligoski, OEL, Schultz.

Thanks

OEL
Edler
Schultz
Suter
Goligoski

I would happily take my chances with the young studs over Suter and Gogo.

In points-only leagues, I'm mostly considering a team's PP... because a LOT of defense points come there.
Vancouver's PP (w/Sedins) is the best of this bunch, IMO..
I think MIN's PP is going to be really, really good (Koivu, Parise, Heatley).
I think you take the risk on Schultz with that emerging EDM PP.

DAL's PP should also be much improved (Jagr, Whitney, Benn, Eriksson)... but Jagr & Whitney are aging.
Goligoski is a bit of a buy low, so he's a guy to cut here.

OEL is not a consideration, IMO... with the crap forwards in Phoenix.

Edler -- Given his track record, he's a good, safe bet for somewhere between 40-50 points over a full season. Not much downside to his projection.

Suter -- I agree with Pengwin7, the quality of the Wild PP should push Suter over the 40-point mark over a full season.

Goligoski -- More of a known asset than Schultz. I could go either way here.

Schultz -- The talent is there, but there is some risk. How will he be used? Hard to project his level of production.

OEL -- Not far behind Goligoski or Schultz. He's really good, but is already being forced to play tough minutes (mostly because he's up for the challenge). I'd also like him more if he played somewhere other than Phoenix.

Edler - He's the the #1 option on the PP with the Sedin twins and he should continue to produce close to 50 points.

Suter - Already was a good option in NSH, now he's the main threat at the point in MIN. I think he goes beyond 40 this year.

OEL - A young defenseman only getting better. He's already overtaken Yandle as the top D-man on the PP and people don't realize that the PHX PP is not that bad and runs through the point. He's a safe bet for 35-40 with high upside.

Goligoski - Don't like him since he's been in Dallas. Of course, having the worst PP in the league didn't help last year but I don't think it gets that much better even with the additions of Roy, Jagr and Whitney. He should be over 30 but I doubt he goes over 40.

Schultz - Very intriguing high upside play but way too much risk as we don't know how he's going to be used. I think he has a good year but his AHL performance has the expectations way too high.

Edler - Safest bet
Suter - Numbers will only get better as "the guy" in Minny
OEL -Safe for 40(eventually). anything more is gravy
Goligoski - No guarantees. Could be higher with his ability and opportunity.
Schultz - Would slip up in a large keeper/farms.
