I think this was in the ramblings recently but didn't see a thread about it. Curses! He was doing really well - hope he's better in time for an NHL season (whenever that is). One story:

Leafs\Marlies still hoping for improvement in Jake Gardiner's recovery from concussion. He's progressing slowly and will be awhile.

Per rotoworld today:

"Randy Carlyle says Jake Gardiner (concussion/whiplash symptoms) skated Tuesday and could play in Saturday's season opener.
Gardiner hasn't played since suffering a concussion after a hit to the head Dec. 8 and Carlyle said Gardiner hasn't been cleared for contact yet, making it unlikely he'll play Saturday. Concussions have different timetables for each player, so owners who drafted Gardiner in keeper leagues will just have to wait and see if he progresses in time to play Saturday. Generally positive news, but I hope they don't rush him.

I'll go out on a limb and say that sounds awfully close to a concussion.

He doesn't have an injury, he has injury-like symptoms. :rolleyes:
