Interesting. I had read that he wanted a 3 yr deal and if he couldnt get it from one of the 3 teams interested in him (one of those teams being the Jays) he was going to resign with Pittsburgh. I guess we now know what happened on his end for getting a 3 yr offer.

Just reading this article, apparently he turned down a bigger offer from the Jays.
