Are the Dodgers done? Apparently not

Jim Bowden of ESPN tweeted this earlier today: "If the Dodgers don't sign Hyun-Jin Ryu today they will shift their focus to free agent pitcher Anibal Sanchez according to a source."

Where is all this influx of money coming from? Just the owners or are they creating a new cable channel?

For the first time in over a decade, the Yankees will no longer be the team with the leagues highest payroll.

they were set to sign a 6-7 Billion dollar deal for 25 year cable contract; worked out to over a million a game if these #'s were correct. more than double the deal of the 2nd highest tv contract

As a Giants fan I'm just glad my boys have won twice in the past few years. The Dodgers should make it difficult, but they're spending so much money that people are already calling them West Coast Yankees.

The Giants are still a better team IMO.

The Dodgers have gone from the depths of bankruptcy a couple years ago to the highest payroll team in MLB. Weee!
