Pac-Man Got Knocked The Hell Out

Marquez knocked him the fudge out with a clean right hand, with only 3 seconds to go in round 6. It was a very odd fight. Pacquaio got knocked down in the third after controlling the first two rounds and was great thereafter. The first time I saw the knock out, I thought he slipped and fell.

Is there a real chance Manny retires after this loss? Will there be a Pac-Man v Marquez V?

This is why superfights like Mayweather/Pacman and GSP/Silva need to happen while they're still relevant.

Pheeeew... And after reading the title of your post I already thought Max Pacioretty got injured again (which would have been relevant to me and my fantasy team...)

I have to wonder if he will continue. Adding to the demanding schedule of a prize-fighter, he's a politician in his homeland as well as an actor. Around the time he ran for office, he started a spiritual journey, so to speak, which seems to be doing wonders for his family life - I'm happy for the guy. But it seems like he's lost a lot of that edge in the process.

Yes!!

Although I am pretty sure that GSP is terrified of Silva, haha!

Most sane people would be... hell Silva can slap around quality fighters from two weight classes above what GSP fights at. GSP is a great fighter but I'd consider it a major upset for him to beat Silva.

I'm pretty sure Silva out weighs him huge.

I'd rather see Jones vs Silva. That seems like a physique + range fight that is on par.

On top of being the best middleweight, Silva is also the worst possible physical match-up because of his long limbs and how well he does sitting back picking his spots.

I was hoping for a Pacman Jones article... perhaps about getting bounced by a bouncer at a strip club. Ah, nuts.
