Stastny for Enstrom
Is it a fair trade in this league setting?
16 Team Keeper: 12F, 6D, 2G, 5 Bench On avg each team keeps: 16F (~250 deep for the whole league) 6D (~100 deep) 3G G, A, PTS, +/-, SHOTS, PIM, SHP, PPP, GWG |
Not sure what categories your league has, but it's safe to say that Enstrom holds more value, I'd say.

I'm hoping for a Stastny bounceback, but I'm with CascadeFilly here -- Enstrom is considerably more valuable.
The additional name would depend on your roster I suppose. Hard to make suggestions with so little information. Basically, Enstrom is still a top tier d-man. He's been good for 50 points in the past, puts up some PIM, and PPP. Stastny has been middling the last couple years. |
F: Sidney Crosby, Milan Lucic, Evander Kane, Mikko Koivu, Paul Stastny, Joffrey Lupul, Kris Versteeg, Kyle Okposo, Chris Kunitz, Cody Hodgson, Mikhail Grabovski, Steve Downie, Jiri Hudler, Marcus Johansson, Martin Hanzal, Craig Smith, Brian Gionta
D: Kyle Quincey, Marek Zidlicky, Tom Gilbert, Tyson Barrie, David Savard G: Ilya Bryzgalov, Kari Lehtonen, Semyon Varlamov |
Are you looking to make a fair offer? Or was this offered to you?
If this was offered, and you own Stastny, take it quickly. If you're looking to make a fair offer on him, and this is your team, it'd depend on the other guy's team. Does he have depth at D? Is he weak at forward? Who would he drop to make room if it was a 2-for-1? Too many questions to be clear. |

I don't think this is the time to be moving Stastny - I believe he is undervalued right now and will improve his stock considerably. However if you can get Enstrom for Stastny straightup it's probably a pretty decent deal for both if it fills needs.

My thought exactly. Also, my league is also about 250 forwards and 100 D deep. Best players available on waivers, for both F and D, scored about the same amounts of points last year (~19 pts). I don't think I should put any premium on D, or should I? |
