Let's talk Michael Sgarbossa
 

Love this kid. Im sure most have heard about him by now. Ive had him on my farm for 2 years now.
PPG player in only his 1st season in AHL. Just continues to produce.

Just love to hear others opinions.
Top 6 Fwd? What kind of production do u see from him?
Besides possibly goals, what other cats do u see him providing?

He didn't play last night for Lake Erie... anyone know if he got invited to camp?

I read that he and a few others (Barrie, Elliott, etc) packed their bags to go to camp in Colorado.

He's just been called up to the bigs, per rotoworld:

"Avalanche recall C Michael Sgarbossa from AHL Lake Erie.
Sgarbossa was sent down earlier in January after not making the Avalanche out of training camp. He has 16 goals and 36 points in 38 games with Lake Erie. He'll replace Brad Malone, who was sent down to the AHL, but Sgarbossa is unlikely to have a ton of fantasy value in most formats. Source: Adrian Dater on Twitter"

So he didn't put up any points in his 6 games (and went -3 to boot), and has spent the last 3 games as a healthy scratch. Not exactly the start his owners were looking for. I hope they either give him another shot or send him back down to the AHL asap - sitting in the press box isn't likely doing him that much good.

Agreed. Let him play one way or another

It's Colorado, what do you expect? NYI/CBJ and others have got a lot of flack for how they handle players over the past while but COL has been abysmal and the O'Reilly situation only makes that more obvious.
