Need help on Big Trade!
Been offered Giroux and Lecavalier for Eberle Landeskog and my 1st next year should I do it team and point system are in my signature at bottom.
|
Doing the trade:
Pros: 90+ points from Giroux, adding experience to your group, proven over potential(dobber's patented line) Cons: getting rid of 2 80+ potentials, having 3 PHI players(as PHI goes, so does your team Not doing trade: Pro: Rebuilding with young players you already have Con: Limiting current sucess Hope this helps. If I had to choose, I would say don't do it. |
If it's a full keeper, I think I'd say no. If it's a limited keeper, I'd need the number of keepers to decide.

We drop 4 each year would it be too much for me to sake for skinner instead of vinny?

Giroux - 90 pts Skinner - 75 pts Eberle - 80 pts Landeskog - 70 pts See if you can't get the first rounder dropped to a second. |
full keeper no way. partial keeper id do it.

It makes more sense to keep Eberle/Landeskog/1st in this scenario.

Would putting 'Eberle/Landeskog for Giroux/Lecavalier' in the subject line been so hard? Not like it isn't an interesting trade involving top end players (save for Vinny).
Eberle is just a click or two below Giroux, and both have seen their trade value increase after last seasons break-outs. But the Landeskog-Lecavalier drop off isn't really worth it. I get the Giroux intrigue, and this is not really an overpayment; its fair value, just not worth it. Maybe try and swap out Landeskog for a lesser, yet still decent young prospect, or ask him to pony up with a better player. Try Eberle/Voracek for Giroux/Lecavalier, maybe through in a mid range draft pick as a kicker. |

I would say no deal. Keep what you have.
