MJD + Fitz for Rice REP ASAP HELP

Similar to the last deal I posted but he upped the ante. Deal is now...

His MJD, Fitzgerald, 1st and 4th

For

My Rice, 2nd and 3rd

10 keepers

If this is your keep 10 league, then I like this deal for you. You are picking up 2 guys on down years that will no doubt bounce back next year.

I have to agree with Derek. He's selling really low on his guys (maybe I'm an idiot for thinking the Jags will one day get better but how can anyone not think that on Fitz? He's been a consistent beast) and this is a nice chance for you to take advantage. On top of that, you're also upgrading draft picks? I don't exactly know why you'd avoid it.

I would absolutely do this. MJD can go h2h with Rice. Fitz just needs a QB for him to dominate. Between those 3 players you get 2 within the top 15 for one. The first rd pick is icing on the cake.

I'd take that. Rice is the best player, but they're throwing it more and more.
MJD is no slouch, Fitz is still a stud (just needs a QB) and the first rounder is gravy.

Not meaning to beat a dead horse here but I agree with the consensus. Gotta make that deal. Fitz has gotta bounce back and a healthy MJD will rack up points. Nice deal

some things to consider before making this deal:

-will arizona be getting a qb anytime soon to bail fitz out? Realistically they might land Barkley or get a cast off vet like Smith or even Vick.
-if MJD was holding out with 2 years left on his deal, what will he do in the last year of his deal after a season where the proof is in the pudding that the Jags need him?

I hate to give up the clear cut best player in the deal (rice) but I would make this trade as well.

The more I thought about this one, the more I wondered about keepers.
I do think I'd still do it -- the first rounder is the kicker for me.
But you'll be dropping someone like Broyles/Maclin.

I still think Fitz is a big enough upgrade, and you can draft one of those guys back.

Thanks guys. He has since taken back some of his picks but I think the deal will be a go eventually.
