Landeskog for Granlund & Kuznetsov

I'm building right now and stock piling young guns. Our league uses peripheral stats and I enjoy stacking my team with guys who can hit and get PIMs and not just score. I'm thinking of making this trade offer.... Give Granlund & Kuznetsov, get Landeskog. I see Landeskog as a safer bet and he gets more perihperal stats. Kuznetsov is also a risk. This would also free up a keeper spot for me which may allow me to keep someone like Kesler (whom I'd pick up in another deal).

Would you make this deal if you could?

Thanks.

Keeper League (Keep 10 skaters, 2 goalies).
C: Backes, Pavelski, Thornton, Grandlund, Kuznetsov
L: Benn, E. Kane, Dupuis, Kunitz, N. Filigno
R: Kassian, Tarasenko, Yakupov, Brouwer
D: B. Smith, Carlson, D. Hamilton, Giordano, Hamonic, Seidenberg, Goligoski
G: Rask, Schneider, Lindback, Anderson

League settings:
positions: C(x3), L(x3), R(x3), D(x6), Utility(1), G(x3), Bench(x6) =25 players.
Cats include: G(1), A(1), +/- (.5), PIM (.25), SHG (2), SHA (1), GWG (2), Hits and blocks (.1), W(2), GA (-.2), SV (.05), SO (5)

Welcome to the boards!

That would be a deal I'm definitely comfortable with making. I know Granlund has great upside but with the hits/blocks counting as .1, given last year's stats Landeskog would have had 26 points alone from those peripherals. Not to mention how this league fits his skill-set/play style very well.

Helps you consolidate assets in a league where you can only keep 10 skaters.

I like it if it's something you can swing.

Definitely Landeskog as an upgrade over Granlund since you'd probably not keep Kuz anyways.

this is a good trade in a limited keeper league. you should go for it.

Id do that deal as well. I like Kuz but who knows if he's going to come over. Im suspicious right now. Granlund is an injury risk. Grab Lando while you can. Next full season he could hit 70+.

Landeskog side by a landslide IMO.
He's a multic-cat beast (270+ shots in his first season... Imagine what he could do next?)

I'd absolutely prefer Landeskog in this scenario, no hesitation...and if you could actually pull that off, bravo to you, sir. The other GM is a...*ahem*...Not a very "bright" fantasy hockey GM(to say the least!)

Bingo!

Great trade for you.

Take the performing NHL multi cat beast every time. Down the road it might be different, but right now, that's a solid deal.

If you can swing it, then absolutely. I've tried to acquire Landeskog in a league that counts peripheries as well, and the counters I was receiving were involved big, established names going the other way. Every league is different, but my gut tells me that you'll need to up your offer to land him. At the very least, it's a good place to start.
