Just got caught up on it. Best drama I have seen since the Wire (that includes Breaking Bad and Boardwalk Empire)

A smarter 24 - great characters, great plot.

Has the same actor who played Winters on Band of Brothers as the main character.

maybe a little, but that's not saying much...

Showrunners actually worked on 24 so the comparisons are there. Lately I've been finding the show more and more unbelievable but if you are willing to accept some of the implausibilities you'll see a show with great story telling and fantastic acting across the board.

And cmon....how can you not love Tim Horton's coffee in the latest episode!!!

It's the best show on TV right now. Breaking Bad is better than it, but it is currently on hiatus. I would rank the best ever dramas as;

1. The Wire
2. Breaking Bad (may eclispe The Wire depending how they wrap the final season)
3. Homeland

I noticed that too. It freaked me right out.

How can they be so concerned about Abu Nazir sneaking into America when the greatest terrorist of all has set up shop right under their noses?

Good stuff, wow, I'll check it out when I'm caught up on the other shows.
Bold words, but then again Breaking Bad wasn't great this season IMO, and Boardwalk Empire keeps killing off any interesting characters worth watching.

But best show on TV right now is Sons of Anarchy. If you've watched it then you wouldn't brush it off so easily! Also, Dexter is going. I'm eight episodes behind, but it can't have declined any, has it?

Sons of Anarchy certainly is good too. Shall we sprinkle some Game of Thrones on this good tv banter? :)

That's the best show, IMO, hands down not even close. But it's on hiatus so I didn't think it counted in this thread!
