Strong words, from Giancarlo Stanton

"This is the 'winning philosophy?' Then to say it's not about money? What is the motivation? There comes a breaking point. I know how I feel. I can't imagine how the city and the fans feel."

This is just one of the things he had to say in an interview with Peter Gammons.

Terrible, it was a fiasco. Stanton is completely right to be furious over this.

Just read that Samson told Buerhle and Reyes they wouldn't be flipped when they signed. What a wonderful organization..

Wow. For a moment, this organization was considered the model for how other small market teams can compete. SMH!!

He's just counting the days to Free Agency. I could see him in the pinstripes in a few years.

There is no such thing as too much money for the Yankees

As for Stanton, I actually feel badly for the guy. How on earth is Miami ever going to convince anyone to sign there after this?

The worst part is that I own him in my keeper pool and will have to suffer through next season in hopes that he lands on a real team for 2014
