I know all of you are going to be a little iffy about this, but I like it for Toronto.

Pretty decent contract, guy who can hit 20+ homers and drive in 75+ runs.

Left field upgraded, only weak spot in lineup is 2B.

I cant wait to see what else AA has up his sleeve for deals this off season. Right now we have too many players for the positions.

I agree, this is an upgrade for the LF position but where the hell does Bonifacio or RDavis play? Right now the OF looks like Cabrera in left, Rasmus in center and Bautista.

We havent even mentioned Anthony Gose yet. He will be back in AAA now I would assume. Same could be said for Ruben Sierra.

Bonifacio I realize can play infield and outfield. His speed will be used somewhere. Does he platoon with Izturis at 2nd base?

As it stands right now, the Jays have 1 too many starting catchers too.

The next deal or two by AA could be real interesting and should hopefully answer some of these questions.

Omg wtf lol. Let's just hope that he doesn't suck now that he's probably no longer using PEDs (maybe). He tested positive once his number skyrocketed so we'll see.

You don't think Bonifacio plays 2B and can hit .290?

Dobber 11-16-2012 02:20 PM

I'd be spiking his water bottle. Whatever helps him put up the numbers!

The numbers won't be there if he's serving a 100 game suspension lol.

Then again if he can hit like a beast until the 62 game mark and then the rest of the team can push hard for a playoff spot maybe it'll work out lol.

As for Gose & Sierra I don't think either of them is ready for full time MLB duties anyway so I actually like the fact that they're getting pushed further and further down the depth charts.

I think all pro athletes should use PED's. It would make for a much more interesting product and injuries will heal faster.

Izturis' fielding ability will probably make him the starting 2B.

We still don't even know what other kind of deals AA might have waiting in the wings right now pending the league approval of the big trade.
