Some 2013 Projections...
I was hoping to get some projections from DOBBERNation regarding 5 players that may be keepers for me next season... The league is a keep 8 + 1 developmental keeper...
So far my FOR SURE Keepers are looking like this... (obviously barring trade)
Freeman, Longoria, A Cabrera, Trout, Kimbrel
The 5 players in question are
So I can keep 3 of those guys, could you rank them accordingly 1-5 and perhaps give me some years 1-3-5 projections?
I can rank them for you, but the projections will have to wait until tomorrow.

Hellickson: 180 IP, 3.40 ERA, 130 K, 1.20 WHIP
Morrow: 175-180 IP, 2.75 ERA, 200 K, 1.15 WHIP
Minor: 180 IP, 3.75 ERA, 150 K, 1.17 WHIP
Based on these stats, how does Hellickson rank ahead of Morrow? I wouldn't even consider him ahead of Morrow unless you were very risk adverse and don't trust Morrow's health.

That's never a guarantee though and he can't control it, he's just an injury prone player.

Another thing to consider is that Hellickson's agent is Scott Boras and the Rays are not the kind of team that will hand out a big contract extension if they don't feel that player is worth the money, whereas other teams would be very interested in a long term deal with Hellickson.
