*REP* Roddy White on the table?
 

Would you trade Eric Decker and Steven Jackson for Roddy White? 10 team PPR keeper league.

I have Adrian Peterson and Derek McFadden as my main RB's, with Rashad Jennings as one of my flex guys. My WR is Megatron, Lloyd, Johnson (BUF) and Moss (WAS).

Four keepers, champion keeps five.

I would say no to this deal. Yes White is the sexy name in this deal but Decker is having a great season and has the trust of Manning when Denver is close to the goal line. I dont see any drop off in his numbers in the second half on the season. I wouldnt trade Decker straight up for White right now, nevermind throwing in Jackson.

HELL YEAH!!! Jackson is virtually all but washed up. Decker has been hot, but he's not in Roddy's league. His value is mainky tied to Manning who only has so many years left. Roddy will be playing long after Manning is done. And he'll have one of the top 3 fantasy QBs as well as a top 5 WR compliment in Jones to help him run free. DO THIS without hesitation!

Do not do this trade! Denver has one of the best schedules to close out the season and Decker is clearly becoming Mannings favorite target.

Okay so I've got mixed reactions so far, here are some more details about my team.

It just isn't my year, as I'm 3-6 right now but my team is still looking good to me and I think I can turn it around.

BN- Moss (WAS), Jackson (STL), Dwyer and Schaub.

D- 49ers

Since we keep four, my keepers right now would probably be Stafford, Megatron, Peterson and McFadden.

I think White is an upgrade over McFadden and I would have better keepers by doing this trade. I'm just not sure because I can't figure out if my team is good enough to go for it this year?

Really appreciate all the help, I know football but not nearly as well as hockey or baseball.

Ah, totally overlooked Stafford. You have a good team. I think the only thing holding you cack is better QB play - Stafford may provide that, and a #2 back to replsce Mcafadden.

I like your team its pretty good. I still say no to making this trade. I dont see how White will improve your team. I would target a RB instead of a WR if anything.

Especially because it is PPR, I definitely would not do this. Decker isn't a deep threat boom or bust guy, he is a volume Welker-type receiver. I agree Jackson is washed up but make a trade for RB not WR. Roddy is marginally better, and even with Roddy your four keepers are Stafford, Megatron, AP, and McFadden. Always keep RB depth over WR depth, its guaranteed points. RBs get touches, thats just football, WR have to have a good throw, make a good catch, and beat coverage just to get the ball in their hands
