OEL out with an upper-body injury
 

Haven't seen this posted anywhere but apparently OEL got injured last weekend.

Didn't play yesterday either so we'll have to see how many games he's going to miss.

as long as he is good for October 2013 I am ok with it!

From a few days ago (I'm guessing this must be a concussion):

Defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson, who has missed the past several games because of an upper-body injury, will accompany his teammates on the hectic trip. Ekman-Larsson ranks fourth on the team and seventh in the AHL among defensemen with nine points.

“We’re not sure if he’ll get into a game or not,” Edwards said. “We’re going to be overly cautious with him and see how it goes day to day. He skated with the group for the first time (on Wednesday) and he’ll have a full practice with the group (on Thursday). We’ll just see how it goes this weekend.”

Hard to find any info on the injury but came across that. So looks like he's hurt his finger.

I didn't report it as I didn't think it was a big injury lol

Yeah, I was thrilled to see it was a cut finger.

My apologies for the concussion assumption...when team's say "upper-body" and the player keeps missing games, I've become accustomed to assuming its a concussion.
