RG3+ for McCoy

I'm currently sitting in 2nd place in this 12 team ppr keep 4. The last place team that is building for next year offered me his McCoy for my RG3 and Demarco Murray. If I make this trade I would have two of the best fantasy rb's in the league and I would be able to start peyton, rather than have him ride my bench. Do I make this trade?

qb- rg3, peyton
rb-rice, matthews, murray, d brown, leshoure, jstew
wr-nicks, d thomas, s johnson, garcon
te-bennet, cook

Very tempting, as consistent RB production is crucial.

In a keeper its harder to give up RG3 as Peyton is older. But RG3 could pull a Newton or Vick.

How many QBs are kept year to year? Guess you would them keep Rice, McCoy, Thomas, Nicks/Manning?

I think if you want to win this year then consider it. I assume if Vick is benched for Foles, they will start using McCoy more.

What QBs are avail to pickup when he's gone?

last year 6 qb's were kept. if i accept the deal i would keep rice, mccoy, nicks and d thomas. i could use my first or 2nd round selection on next years starter.

What happens when Vick is benched in two weeks (if not sooner)? And I mean that seriously...does that increase McCoy's value. I would assume so but it's something you need to consider.

RG is not Newton, in any way. You can tell by his body language, eye contact and the way he invites challenge. Not too mention the coaching situation in Washington is far and away better.

Can you pick a backup off the wire for the remainder of this year?

Peyton already had a week 7 bye, so don't need to carry a backup. If he gets hurt then he can trade for a,replacement starter.

You are essentially wasting roster spot that could get you 15 points per week holding 2 top QBs.

OH, because owners are always dying to trade proven commodities to teams with a huge void to fill?

What are you arguing about?

He has 2 top 6 players at a position where he can only play one.

Running QBs tend to have a history of getting hurt or regressing - Vick, Newton, Steve Young, Cunningham.

He can get a player who was top 3 overall in all drafts. He'll have two of the more reliable proven younger RBs in the league where there are maybe 10-12 total.

No one buys 2 ferraris to own and keep 1 in the garage in case the other breaks.
