Taylor Hall Cleared to Play

Time to rip up the AHL!

@AHLBarons
Per Todd Nelson, Taylor Hall has been cleared medically and will be playing on Friday night. #OKCBarons #Oilers
"For the first month, we won't be playing him in back-to-back games, so he'll play Friday and Sunday this weekend." -Todd Nelson #OKCBarons
Hall will start out with Eberle and Nugent-Hopkins, and will possibly integrate into a different line as time goes on. #OKCBarons #Oilers

Is the "no skating on face" rule in effect?

Sucks for Hall. He's been earning his NHL salary until he got healthy enough to play...

I'd get excited, but there's no NHL to watch him in.

I am just about ready to purchase the AHL streaming packages just to watch the Barons play.

Oooh BlackGold, you are naughty! It sounded like this "repair" has been waiting for a few years though, so maybe Hall is really about to secure his status as the first overall pick from here on out. Seguin has been gaining on you Hall!!!

"Reconstruction" would be more accurate than repair. He likely had a Latarjet procedure. You take a small piece of bone from your scapula or hip and use it to fill the bony defect. It does not make up your shoulder "normal", just more stable.
