(Keeper League 2013 Entry draft) What will you do if there is no NHL Season?
 

Hello Guys

Just wanted to know what other Keeper pools are going to do if there was no NHL this season for there 2013 Entry Draft.

Will you do the same order as 2012 draft?
Will you do what the NHL did in 2005? Randon lottery draft and them a snake draft.

I'm trying to get some good ideas as I don't like the Randon Lottery draft as we have some good team and some bad teams in our pool that need theres good young players.

Please let me know what you plan to do.

We will see what the NHL does, and pretty much copy it to fit our league.

We are doing the same exact order as 2012.

My league will do a lottery like in 2005.....not sure if we'll do a snake or normal draft, but the lottery part of it has been decided.

we will more than likely each get one ball in our tumbler. not snake draft either.
we may try to weigh it a bit towards the weeker teams but we ussually go from the last seasons rankings to determine how many balls each team gets.with no season we may have to just decide wich teams are weekest.

Unfortunately, this seems more and more like the reality.

Any ideas on how to weigh a lottery? Our league is going to need to figure something out if the season doesn't start at all.

We have 10 teams in our league. We already voted a system. We're gonna use 2011-12 and 2010-11 standings.

Positions 1-2-3: 1 ball
Positions 4-5-6-7: 2 balls
Positions 8-9-10: 3 balls

We're putting all the balls in and we 're using the elimination mode. When your last ball comes out, you have the worst position available in the draft. This is not a snake draft either.....
