[Cage Match Tournament] #1 Fleury vs. #3 Lehtonen
This is it ladies and gentlemen, the Elite Eight! The finalists in each bracket. This here determines the Hasek Bracket.
As always, remember to cast your votes based on a one-year league with Wins, Save Percentage, Goals Against Average and Shutouts as scoring categories. #1 Mike Smith vs. #2 Cam Ward #1 Tuukka Rask vs. #2 Carey Price #1 Ryan Miller vs. #2 Jaroslav Halak |
I went Lehtonen here. Fleury will probably beat Kari in the Wins category. That's it. I'm drinking the Angus-Goldman kool-aid. All the cool kids do it :)

In a 1 yr, or a keeper for that matter, I would rather own The Flower.
|
one more for the flower. one bad playoffs dont bring a top goalie option down in my books.
|
Fleury for me. I know he has a bigger threat behind him in Vokoun but the Penguins are going to one of if not the best team in the league.
|
Marc-Andre Fleury for me boss.
|
Took flower here.
|
Fleury, but barely for me.
It's funny because I'm pretty sure if I were drafting, I would not want Fleury to be my #1 option in net. However, if it came down to drafting my #2 tender and for some reason Fleury was available, I'd let someone else take him and wait to take Lehtonen with my next pick or something (assuming I could dictate how an entire draft could go :p) |

As much as I like Lehtonen, it's MAF for me here. It's really close though. Last time I voted for Lehts I said he could win 35-40 games this year and I still think that, but there's always the chance the Stars don't take a jump like I'm expecting and he ends up around 30. In that case, MAF beats him in wins. Lehts should win SV%, but GAA will be close as well as shutouts. I would just feel safer taking MAF over Lehts but by this time next year I think my view on that will be different.
