Justin Schultz vs Dougie Hamilton vs Clarke McArthur
One year H2H league. Standard Categories.
Which one would you pick ? |
I would take Justin Schultz here, he's going to be NHL ready whenever they agree on a new CBA.
Schultz is putting up impressive numbers in the American Hockey League as well, as he has six points in four games. He will likely be given every opportunity to produce with Edmonton and I like his chances at having a solid rookie season in the NHL. |
I'm not the best with young guys so can't help you there, but considering you are asking about different positions and we don't know the context of your question, it would be helpful for everyone to know the rest of your roster, starting positions (number and type) etc. Is this for draft or FA pick up? If FA, who would you drop etc.
For example, if your D was stacked and Schultz/Hamilton were to become bench players, then they may not be as valuable to your squad. Same goes with LW/F and MacArthur. However, if you desperately need the depth in D or LW/F then they could help you. There are various other scenarios could change the outcome. Providing all relevant details will ensure you get better advice. |
Have to agree with horrorfan, though odds are I would probably go boom/bust with Schultz unless you were super stacked at D. He's been tearing up the AHL from what I've heard.
|
For a one year league I would go with Clarke McArthur. He is the only one of the 3 who has played in the NHL and he is the safest bet.
|
id take the chance on schultz.

Ok
Thanks for the advice. I dropped McArthur and added Schultz.
Ours is a 10 team league. Figure I can always add FA comparable to McArthur if needed. Like Schultz's potential this year. PP with the forwards in Edmonton :) |
