Pence for Justin Upton?
 

12 team 5x5 H2H keeper league (keep 8). I'm in dead last and have started a rebuild, trying to get younger and improve my chances for the next few years.

My current keepers:
Ryan Howard
Jason Kipnis
Jose Reyes
Mike Moustakas
Jacoby Ellsbury
Hunter Pence
Felix Hernandez
one of Dan Uggla or Brian Wilson (depending on his arm)

I was thinking of offering Hunter Pence and some spare parts (Markakis and Berkman) to a contending team for Justin Upton.

Yes or no?

(and no, he does not have interest in Howard or Uggla)

Forgot to mention - would anybody prefer that I package Pence up with Reyes to land Tulo instead of dealing Pence for Upton? That option is currently on the table from another contender...

I like the idea of pence and a spare part for upton better. I believe the hype surrounding Justin and think he will be an absolute stud. The tulo idea is not a bad idea either but if Reyes is healthy he can be the top scoring ss in fantasy baseball he hits (usually) for high average, steals, and gets lots of runs and extra base hits. I don't think I'd trade 2 keepers for tulo before trying to get upton first. But if upton couldn't happen I'd think the upgrade at ss would be a good idea. I hope that made some sence... Good luck

Go full out and do the Upton thing and then go for Tulowitzki using Reyes and whatever you have left.

get upton over tulo (even if he's ss)

I'd rather Pence...we haven't even seen close to the best from him yet.
