Linus Omark Rumors?

Are there Any?

Do i hold onto this guy? ( we have massive farms so i will be if theres any hope at all)

I believe hes a UFA now is that correct?
Surely there are plenty of teams who can give this guy a trial on their 3rd line on a two way contract.

No last i heard they qualified him. So hes an Oiler for now.

He apparently had asked for a trade back in April and there was speculation they were trying to move him at the draft. So hang in there,

It's tough to make trades while there are alternatives available on the UFA market that would not cost any draft picks or prospects to acquire. I know Omark is in demand, but right now the focus really is on the UFAs with the exceptions being Nash and Ryan.

Expect him to be a sweetener in any deal the Oilers make this offseason. He's not exactly a hot commodity and has made it clear it's NHL or back to Sweden/KHL.

Omark for Ben Lovejoy? Too bad Oilers have no need for Reverend Lovejoy.

I'd love to see Omark get a real shot at somewhere. Oilers need to trade him and give him the chance to be a NHL-player.

Isn't PIT looking to move Martin's contract?

No they aren't.

Fans may be looking it but not the organisation. Had they gotten Suter, then maybe, but no need to dump Martin now.

That is indeed a very important point to remember and why patience is so essential.

Yeah, it would be weird to see Reverand Lovejoy having a band of underachieving misfits lead by heavy-set balding man of questionable intelligence as his chief source of conflict....
