Anyone who votes Duchene should not play fantasy hockey. This match up isn't remotely fair in anyway.
Malkin vs Giroux would have been a much better match up. Same with Duchene vs Spezza

There's a guy in my keeper league who values Duchene over anyone, although Duchene is his favourite player and he is an Avs fan. Still outrageous, though.

How is Backstrom in this tourny, hes been out for like 2 months?

Lol? I can't tell if this is a joke or not.

Poor Duchene. Going against the best in the world isn't fair for him. I like his upside a lot but there's no way anyone can vote him while being serious.

I feel like this is like the 2nd round of the NFL playoffs where the teams meet all of the heavily favored division winners. The lower seeded guys should get spreads or something.

Keep in mind that this tournament is regarding keeper league value. I'd say his injury definitely affected his seeding but he has proven too much to be left out by the selection committee. I mean, by that same logic Crosby would be left out as well. These injuries could ultimately prove to be the downfall for these players but I fully back the decisions of the selection committee.
