Flashback : During the month of March and early April, the Farm team section in the DobberHockey forums held a "Name the Farm" Contest. With over 70 entries, and eight divisions, it was a fight down to the very last vote. Congratulations to forum member Magic Stew, whose entry "Black Aces" won the contest and has successfully named the DobberHockey Minors.

Fast-forward to the moment you are reading this : Picking up where we left off, it has now been over a month since the DobberHockey Minors were labeled the Black Aces... but what fun is a name by its lonesome? Enough grazing! Surely the Farm and our readers can cultivate an amazing crop of goodies for our newest contest... the Black Aces logo challenge!

Yep, here is your chance to whip up an eye-popping, drool-inducing logo that will make a case for itself to be named the World's Eighth Wonder. Too far? Maybe. But there is no doubt in my mind that some of you can create some pretty unique graphics, so why not take a stab at this one? You might even win yourself a Sidney Crosby "Upper Deck : Stars in the Making" First NHL Goal Rookie Card!

This contest will work a little differently than its predecessor. The Entry submission stage will begin on Sunday May 15th and will stay open for three weeks, closing on Sunday June 5th. After an initial screening process, entries will be shown in the June Exclusive. They will then be subject to a "One to Ten" rating system where our readers are welcomed to participate and leave feedback. On June 22nd, the entries will get tallied up. Those that gained the most popularity among voters will go head to head, "mano e mano", for the win. Finally, the winning Entry will be announced in the July Exclusive.

Guidelines : 1) All submissions must be sent to Gates via email - gatticus at gmail dot com. Reasoning? Graphics would essentially need to be reviewed, due to content and space, before being published via Exclusive or uploaded via forums.

2) Keep graphics to original content only.

3) Graphics must not include spam, adult or inappropriate content.

Prizes : As a little incentive, the winner of the contest will have the choice of a Dimitry Kulikov Rookie Jersey card, a Nicklas Backstrom "Victory" Rookie card or Sidney Crosby's Upper Deck "Stars in the Making" Rookie First NHL Goal card. Second place will get to pick from the two remaining, and third place gets the last card.
