I have Ward, Smith, Schneider, Reimer
I'll start with Reimer. With Bernier in town I can only assume it is split starts until Toronto gets a good feel of "Reimer is for real" OR "Bernier lives up to expectations" --> he would probably be a NO for me right now...so...
Schneider --> A traded a lot to get him a couple of years ago when Lu was on his way out (so we thought). Skill set probably beats all other 3 goalies but his situation sucks. Possible split AGAIN with Brodeur and NJ loses Kovi.
Smith --> signs new deal on a defensive minded team but is he that good? Is it "who cares?" he will play a tone of games on a defensive team with really good d-men in front of him.
Ward --> I picked him up last year expecting big things then he got injured. The young D in front of him scare me a little. Plus, as much as I like him, he does not boast a great SV% or shutout rate but will they win?
Sorry, I know this is getting long...
Keep 2 and go 3 d-men
Try to trade my 1st and 2nd round picks+ to get more of a sure thing in nets.
