I get that his contract is an albatross and he can't be moved - sucks for him - but GIVE ME A BREAK. It's his own fault for 1) negotiating that contract in the first place and 2) getting outplayed by a goalie who makes a fraction of his salary. I somehow doubt the threat of such a large contract potentially handcuffing his career ever entered his mind when he was counting the $64M at the time the contract was signed, so don't act like such a bitch now.
The funniest part is he made such a shallow and pretentious comment during his interview today when asked if he would give up his contract to be in a better situation to which he responded “I’d scrap it if I could, right now.”
LOL What a ****ing joke... news flash buddy... you actually CAN SCRAP YOUR CONTRACT, and I'm sure the Canucks would be happy to oblige, so why don't you stand by your words and DO IT. I really feel for you buddy, must be hard to sleep on that enormous pile of cash at night.
